Starting date: July 15, 2024 Hi, I am Naseera. I am an NIE NTU graduate. From 2014 to 2019, I taught English, Maths, and Science at Yew Tee Primary in Singapore. Then, I took an opportunity to join the Anglo Singapore International School in Bangkok, Thailand. Teaching in the international and affluent circuit was a privilege and I have grown significantly as a primary educator. I mostly taught primary science in Bangkok based on the Singapore MOE syllabus since 2019. In 2022, I took on the role of Head of the Department for Primary Maths and Science. I oversee curriculum planning, assessment setting, results analysis, and lesson observations for my department teachers. I am highly familiar with the Singapore primary syllabus having taught it for 10 years and look forward to contributing to the academic success of primary students. I am most familiar with Primary 1-4 Mathematics as I am passionate about creating a strong foundation in numeracy, problem-solving and heuristics. Having been a Science teacher and subject lead for the most part of my teaching years, I am also well-versed in learning outcomes for Primary 3-6 Science.
